Every woman is different, that is precisely why an item can look great on one, but doesn’t work at all for the other. Colours can have a great effect on this, but if a garment looks good on you or not depends a great deal on your body type.

The right clothing can make you look your best self. How do you know what clothing is right for you? To get you started we have selected the do’s and don’ts per body type. We selected the following body types:

  1. Apple: little waist and slim legs 
  2. Pear: tiny shoulders and voluptuous hips 
  3. Hourglass: full bust, tiny waist and firm but/hips
  4. Rectangle: slim and straight figure, little waist 
  5. Strawberry: broad shoulders, full bust and lean legs 
  6. Athletic: slim, sporty, broad shoulders and straight hips

The basic assumption is to choose the right colours in the right places. Combine darker, lighter colours and prints. Do you want to accentuate certain areas or hide them?
